Shutterbug Saturday: Return to Quito II (Ecuador finale)

Wow! Can you believe it?

Since I came back from Ecuador in January, I have been posting some snapshots from my vacation every Saturday. Eleven months later, I finally finish at the city where I started out in the first time I’ve been outside of the country.

This was at the Hotel Gangotena still. It was such a great place with nice rooms and great food. Yes, that is a food pic that says “happy birthday” in Spanish. It was for my sister since it was her birthday on that day.

Thanks for checking out my Ecuador photos over the past several months and for checking out my Autumn Peal blog!

Shutterbug Saturday: Galapagos Islands part XII

More Galapagos pictures coming at ya!

Outside of the hotel where my family and I stayed, there was a mosaic garden within walking distance. There were some great designs from the artists there. Okay, I do admit the turtle shell looked like the X-Men logo, but that’s besides the point. The garden also lead to some oceanic scenery which was a nice touch.

Shutterbug Saturday: Galapagos Islands VII

Galapagos Islands again!

I mixed in some photos from Hotel Silberstein with some food pics (those llapingachos were amazing!), animal pics, and some landscape pics.

Shutterbug Saturday: Alausi part II

Do any of these photos look familiar?

At this part of our tour through Alausi, Ecuador, we were greeted by indigenous dancers from the region who performed some folk dances. I even had my own dance partner later on who was head and shoulders shorter than me. It was quite fun learning about the native cultures in Ecuador. Oh yeah, I even tried a local dessert at the local cafe within walking distance.

Shutterbug Saturday: Quito, Ecuador pt. VI

Here’s my last batch of photos from Quito although I have a lot more Ecuador-based pictures though.

Here are some city shots, scenes outside the hotel, and even a food pic. Hey, why not?
